I initially started this blog to record the journey through my training for my first ever race, the 2006 Edinburgh Marathon (scroll right down for that) but it's since become a general record and moanathon for all the frustrations (and occasional joys) of a novice's attempts to continue running a few races and maybe even rise from the ranks of the 11-minute-milers in the process. Maybe.
